Mrs D.O. Adedeji is a Textile artist and fashion designer. An environmental advocate through her 2RU Initiative (Recycle, Reduce and Upcycle). She holds a bachelor's degree in Consumer Sciences (Clothing and Textile) from Obafemi Awolowo University and in pursuit of Master's of Technology in Industrial Design (Textile) from Federal University of Technology Akure. She's a researcher through her 2RU Initiative, where tailoring scraps/wastes are patched into beautiful bespoke products or artful eco-friendly products, using appliqué and patchwork techniques, she also engage in grassroots and awareness programs geared towards achieving tailoring waste reduction, recycling and clean environment. At 2RU Initiative, we do not only make environmental impacts but also create employment opportunity by empowering youths and women.Our innovation aspires to win many awards for social and environmental impacts. My aspirations are diverse, but my utmost goal is to achieve a world without wastes.
