RealStreamer
This is an internet browser plug-in software designed and implemented with open source tools. The software runs a rate adaptive scheme locally developed to perform end-to-end data speed mis-match between a fast link video source and a slow-link sink or vice-versa. The rate adaptive scheme is a network of two queues. The inlet is operated as a leaky bucket flowing into another operated as a token bucket. The final outlet stream guarrantees a fairly constant flow.
Vehicle Authenticator
Vehicle Authenticator and MonitoringSystem is a system which helps in authenticating and regulating access of vehicles into an area. It is planned to automatically authenticate incoming and outgoing vehicle for traffic monitoring. This system would automatically capture and record driver’s image and plate number for unique tag generation in its database before granting access. In addition, it would generate a time stamp for each vehicle that is granted access and keep a record of duration of each vehicle till their exit.
